This is basically stop-motion animation with people.

Kids can do something as simple as dancing, or they can create stories. In pixellation animation, the impossible can happen -- kids can drive chairs across the room, or turn into a stuffed monster.

Kids shoot their movie with the digital camera, and then do "post-production" in Windows Movie Maker.

In post production, kids arrange, add special effects, titles, music and even voice-overs if you have microphones.

Takehome: Kids can save their movies, but the movies will be too large to email. You'll need to have computers with CD burners for kids to take their movies home with them.
