You must have Windows Movie Maker installed for this class (or Adobe Fireworks).
-
I bring clay, cameras, tripods, wiggly eyes, pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks and tri-fold cardboard backdrops.
-
Kids create their actors out of clay, create stories, create backdrops, shoot their movie with the digital camera, and then do "post-production" in Windows Movie Maker.
-
In post production, kids arrange, add special effects, titles, music and even voice-overs if you have microphones.
-
Takehome: Kids can save their movies, but the movies will be too large to email. You'll need to have computers with CD burners for kids to take their movies home with them.
-
You get to keep the lesson plan.
